Born in a small village in Nottinghamshire, Darren (aka Star Slinger) now lives in Manchester, UK. A city with a vibrant electro scene. Into music since a young age, Darren was making computers solely for music production at 14. By 2007 Star Slinger realeased two dance music EP's one being praised by Paul Van Dyk and the other being featured on BBC Radio 1. After realizing dance/techno music wasn't really his passion he moved back to using his old vinyl and funky samples to create some chill beats. Star Slinger's new EP "Volume 1" uses samples from reggae, funk, soul, 80's rock and many more. So here's a few tracks and a live performance of "Elizabeth Fraser"
