Dead C∆T Bounce

Hello people! Sorry for the lack of post in the last little while. We were a little busy filling our stomachs with delicious dinners and preparing for "Re Dub This", which was a major success. We want to thank the people at Spice Lounge, Dubversity, The Wobble Skankz, Rainman, and especially everyone who came out to show some love. The crowd was incredible and really made the show come together. Here's what you missed out on.

I didn't want to leave you guys with just a picture so here's a little tunes.Antoine Lanneluc & Filippo Gorla are the two minds behind Dead C∆T Bounce and lately they have been able to get me to groove any time of the day. These two guys are only 17 & 18, pretty impressive if you ask me. Here's a little taste of their saw blade synths and catchy tunes.

RAB

"Shipwreck"

Russell “RAB” McBride

First off, RAB stands for “Russell’s a Bitch.” Now before you take that too literally, there are some things you must know... RAB is the only person I have ever met, who has cut his own ear off with a broken beer bottle, puked everywhere and then gone to the hospital, while still partying with a Hawaiian lay and a cowboy gun. If that doesn’t scream "FUCKING PARTY ANIMAL", I don’t know what does. Better yet, Russel even convinced his loser drunk friend to get “RAB” tattooed on his own ass... Not only does RAB enjoy crushing girls before his friends get to date them, but he also loves taking pictures, and he does a pretty damn good job at it.

So remember kids... the next time you get killed playing COD by a dude named “Slushy Panties”, go tell your mom you need to go get “RAB” tatted on your ass, because you’re his bitch too.

Dr. Dre's First Single from Detox!

Finally, Dre has released a track from his first album in over 9 years. The song itself delivers everything you would expect from the Doc. Only this time, it is the music vide that sets it apart from anything we've ever seen before. "Kush" is an epic release for what is surely the most anticipated Hip Hop album of all time. Enjoy.

Producer Profile: Lonestar

Lonestar is a dubstep producer from Birmingham, UK, who ENVƎ has been following for the past few months. We gave him a shout and a few questions, and here's what he hit us with (Kenji Clan is his latest track):

Main Influences?
"My influences have always kind of changed as dubstep's progressed along with my own skills. Biggest influence for me I think would probably be 16bit as those boys encouraged me from day one to start the whole "dirty/glitchy" sound space thing. But also just generally people like Funtcase who I've been quite tight with since before dubstep was around, when he was DJ Dose and I was [formerly] Koga Ninja! Anyone thats doing their thing loud and well is a true inspiration."

How did you get into producing electronic music?
"A few reasons, first being that I didn't do well in school, only getting GCSE's for Music and IT. So I thought, what better than to make music on computers?! I'd always been a musician, learned to play the guitar/bass & drums when I worked my way through school. After school I continued to play, and not knowing what to do, a friend and I joined a college course called "Sound Technician". From then on it sparked our interest in a major way and helped us to meet a lot of safe people via events and broadcasts who really showed us how to get down and dirty using programs!"

Future goals?
"Rule the world of course :) haha, like anyone in this game my future goals are to eventually become a house hold name!"

Upcoming tours?
Anyone who is watching the Lonestar space will have a gut churning wait till the start of 2011! January kicks off with a gig in Japan, then March/April/June time, Belgium, Chronos Takeovers, Dubstepic, Tension Step, and then over to Canada for a tour in the summer time. Once that is done, down to the USA with some of my boys to do a next tour there!, so very busy 2011 for gigs.

New tracks?
"The forthcoming Chronos Obey EP features my new track "Amplify"

Final words:
"If you want to get info about specific dates, then check my Facebook or Soundcloud pages :) All updates are there the second I know anything about it"

"Terry Wood" by Terry Wood

The Man Himself

You've seen a few of his recent video posts, TREX Park Edit & A Run With the TREX, and today Terry Wood's gonna provide a little intro to himself, as well as few things he's drawn up with ENVƎ in mind.

"Basically I'm from Markham Ontario and early in life got into urban culture though takin' trips to Toronto seein' all the ill tags and peepin' the realest fashions. Things like Hip-Hop, Skateboarding and Graff got me down with the movement. Ever since I started into the culture I've never left it. I feel like its the dopest shit goin' down in our era.  And the biggest things goin' on in my life right now relate back to the decisions I made back home and that's straight up BOMBIN SHIT HARD! 905 is the home but like my man young buck said "It ain't 'bout where you from homeboy, it's were u at" so ima rep 604 with the ENVƎ crew keep shit straight up real."
