Eden is one of the biggest and most recognized EDM producers. The Frederik - New EP [Mau5trap] + Me & Anton

Frederik Olufsen has been an unreal producer over the past few years, but after a few months in the studio he is ready to release his new side project "The Frederik" on Mau5trap recordings. Nothing has really been said about this new project other than he will be playing with Deadmau5, Feed Me, Moguai and Steve Duda in Miami on March 24th!

Frederik is pairing up with Danish filmmakers "Me & Anton" for his EP teaser. Expect lots of Purple + Pugs. Check out one of Me & Anton other videos below.

A.Skillz & newly signed OWSLA artist, Nick Thayer, just collaborated on this huge Moombah remix of the Foreigner's "Cold As Ice". They describe it as "Some Bass. Some Drums. A Bit Of Vocals. Seem To Do The Job". I agree with them. . . but I think they did a little more then just do the job. You'll see this remix popping up in Moombahton Sets everywhere.

RAINMAN - This Is Rainman EP (Review + Free Download)

"Dubsmack resident, Rainman, will be releasing his much awaited new EP, “This Is Rainman”. . . The EP will consist of 5 original tracks from the Vancouver native titled, Me Gusta, Bounce, House Music, Something More, and Rhodes." THEKNWLDG

The EP was released March 9th at Ottawa's Biggest Dubstep Night "Dubsmack" which included a live performance by the man himself. I have been waiting sometime to here the full mastered versions of these songs and they are finally here. The first track off the EP is titled "Me Gusta" and is a Moombahton Maniac. Sawblade sounding synths are pounded into the uttermost catchy percussion topped off with some standard whistles (2012: Out with cowbells, in with the whistles!) Next we have a Progressive sounding track that really grabbed my attention, right off the bat.When I first heard "Bounce" I was kind of expecting a heavier drop, but I was satisfied with the progression of percussion and catchy melodies.

Then we have a true RAINMAN single with "House Music"! This song takes me back to the earlier days of Sebastians Music like "Tropic Thunder" & "Thunderclap". Fucking love this shit, BRING THAT BEAT BACK!

After that we have "Something More" which has been unofficially released for quite sometime and has become a RAINMAN staple.

Then we have my favorite track off the EP. "Rhodes" really shows the true producing skills this kid processes. One of the mellowest tracks he's released, infused with beautiful melodic sounds, but showing subtle signs of the Dirty Electro sound we all adore. PURE GENIUS.
